Playing 12 aside due to low numbers Lions started strong. 
Kai Morgan scored  within the first 2 minutes of the game just after losing a player to injury. Shaw Cross bounched back scoring a quick try as Lions were down to 11 due to another player going off injured. Shaw Cross capitalised and scored again as Lions couldn't find their stride. Down 20-4 at half time. 2nd half and the Lions came out fighting, sharper on the ball and strong carrier from Max Mills, Jayden Walker and Ronnie Westwood Lions were back init. Kelam Goodwill broke the line and offloaded to Sonny Newlove would have seen Lions score but the ref brought play back for infringement. With both teams down to 10 men tempers started to flair, but good hand work from Harrison Jewitt and Alfie Milton put Kai Morgan in for his 2nd try of the game. Lions had found their feet and were quickly back scoring again with Kelam Goodwill getting under the sticks. (Conversion Alfie Milton). Back in the game Lions were playing some good rugby with Alfie Milton and Josh Chapman both running strong to gain good yards up the field. A scoot from Archie Hardwick put the game within touching distance of levelling up the score but couldnt convert the kick. Game finished 20-18 to Shaw Cross.
