03/07/2025  Millpond Stadium to Host International Youth Rugby League Action

This Saturday, Millpond Stadium will play host to an exciting day of international rugby league, as two international fixtures take place at the home of Featherstone Lions ARLFC.

We are proud to welcome the England Community Lions U16s and U17s sides, who will take on France Rugby League in what promises to be a fantastic showcase of emerging talent from both nations.

These matches represent a great opportunity to see the next generation of international rugby league players in action, with both England and France bringing strong squads as part of their ongoing player development pathways.

Featherstone Lions are delighted to be hosting international fixtures at Millpond Stadium and welcoming players, coaches and supporters from both countries. Events like this highlight the club’s facilities and growing reputation as a venue capable of staging high-level rugby league, while also inspiring our own junior players by giving them the chance to watch international rugby on their doorstep.
