Featherstone Lions ARLFC are delighted to welcome Alfie back to the club ahead of the 2026 season.

Alfie is a former Lions junior and returns to the club after joining from neighbours Normanton Knights, following a brief spell playing in Division 2. Despite being just 20 years old, Alfie already brings with him a wealth of experience and maturity beyond his years.

He is also a former Leeds Rhinos Academy player, and his development pathway is clear to see in his game awareness, skill level and versatility. Alfie featured for the Lions’ NCL side during the 2024 season, where he demonstrated his ability to slot into multiple positions across the spine.

A true utility player, Alfie has covered centre, halves and hooker, and his adaptability gives the Lions valuable attacking options and flexibility within the squad. His versatility and confidence on the ball make him a constant threat and an exciting prospect as the club continues to build for the future.

We’re delighted to see Alfie back in a Lions jersey and look forward to watching him continue his development as part of the squad in 2026 🦁.
