   Millpond Stadium played host to a truly special evening of rugby league as Featherstone Lions ARLFC Legends took on Silverbacks Rugby League Legends, raising vital funds for Skarlett in front of a fantastic crowd.

The night was about far more than the scoreline. It was a celebration of the Featherstone Lions family, past and present, with a number of Lions players old and new pulling on the shirt. One of the standout moments of the evening was seeing siblings sharing the field together, in some cases for the very first time, making the occasion even more special for those involved.

A massive crowd turned out to support the cause, creating an incredible atmosphere and showing the strength of the rugby league community when it comes together for something meaningful.

The Silverbacks Legends side featured several former professional players, many of whom still showed exactly why they played at the highest level, producing moments of real quality and skill throughout the match.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, the charity game raised an amazing £9,089.63 for Skarlett.

The club would like to say a huge thank you to all players, officials, volunteers, supporters and donors who helped make the night such a success. It was a truly memorable occasion and a brilliant example of what Featherstone Lions ARLFC and the wider rugby league family are all about.
