Charlie Harris Back at Featherstone Lions for the 2026 NCL season

16/01/2026

Featherstone Lions ARLFC are delighted to welcome Charlie Harris back to the club ahead of the 2026 season.

Charlie rejoins the Lions after a recent stint with Pontefract Union, having previously been part of the club during his younger years. A product of the Lions’ junior pathway, Charlie’s talent was quickly recognised, earning him a move to Castleford Tigers, where he featured at scholarship and academy level.

His performances there caught the attention of then coach John Kear, leading to a professional move to Bradford Bulls. After returning briefly to Pontefract Union, Charlie later signed with Featherstone Rovers, where the Lions explored the possibility of bringing him back on dual registration.

Despite those efforts, Charlie was snapped up by Hull FC, before later signing with Dewsbury Rams. He then returned once again to Pontefract Union, continuing to gain valuable experience across the game.

Primarily a lively and attacking fullback, Charlie is equally comfortable operating in the halves, giving the Lions added flexibility, creativity and leadership across the park. His experience at both professional and semi-professional levels will be a real asset to the squad as the club continues to build for 2026.

We’re delighted to welcome Charlie back to where his journey began and look forward to seeing him pull on the Lions jersey once again 🦁.

At the time of writing, Charlie is available for sponsorship. Anyone interested is encouraged to get in touch with Charlie or Daz Fisher for further details.

Welcome back on board, Charlie — #UTL
