   Featherstone Lions Easter Camps got off to a fantastic start today, with almost 40 children attending and taking part in a fun-packed first session.

The day featured a wide range of multi-sport activities, keeping the kids active, engaged and smiling throughout. Alongside the sports sessions, there was plenty of dancing and group activities, helping to build confidence, teamwork and friendships.

To round off the day, every child took part in a sunflower planting activity, giving them something to take home and look after — a great way to mix learning, creativity and a bit of nature into the camp experience.

It was brilliant to see so many children enjoying themselves in a safe, inclusive and energetic environment, and a great start to what promises to be a successful Easter camp programme.
